TWO-PIECE RIGID CERVICAL COLLAR WITH TRACHEAL OPENING

The two-piece cervical collar by ParamedicalShop is a high-precision medical device designed to ensure optimal immobilisation and support of the cervical spine. Manufactured with a structure in hypoallergenic polymer foam material that is non-cytotoxic, this collar offers a perfect combination of necessary rigidity and patient comfort.

The special anatomical shape ensures flawless fit to the chin, nape, and shoulders, while the central tracheal opening and ventilation holes allow proper breathability and access for clinical requirements. The structure is radiolucent and waterproof, features that allow its use during diagnostic examinations or daily hygiene without having to remove the brace.

Therapeutic Indications

Indicated for the treatment of severe sprains of the cervical spine (whiplash), multiple discopathies, complex cervical trauma, and pathological collapses related to metastases. It is also fundamental during post-operative recovery in spinal surgery.

For correct stabilization, it is necessary to measure the neck circumference and the height (vertical distance between shoulder and chin):

Technical Note: For optimal application, it is recommended to fit the front shell first (resting the chin in the designated slot) and then the rear shell, overlapping the side tabs.
